With his lead down to two after missing birdie putts to within seven feet on his previous two holes, Henderson drilled a 35-foot downhill putt for a beautiful birdie on No. 16 to gain some much-needed momentum.

Korda, the world No. 2, made a big charge on the back nine, notching four birdies in five holes.

Henderson, 25, has said she is feeling better after dealing with a back injury late last year.

The Canadian is ranked seventh in the world.
