Maple Leafs’ Simmonds returns to lineup vs. Canadiens, replaces Hunt.

Toronto Maple Leafs Forward Wayne Simmonds will return to the team’s lineup on Saturday against the Montreal Canadiens, replacing Dryden Hunt.

Simmonds has played in just 10 games for Toronto this season and has just one assist. He last played on January 14 against the Boston Bruins.

Hunt has suited up nine times for the Leafs since being acquired from Colorado on Dec. 19. He has three goals in 37 games for both teams this season, averaging 8:04 of ice time. Only one of those goals came with Toronto.

Defenseman Conor Timmons will also play in place of Jordy Bean.

Timmons has one goal and 10 assists in 17 games this season.
