Al-Nasr President Musli Al-Mamar has praised his new recruit Cristiano Ronaldo after his impressive performance for the Riyadh All-Star XI in a friendly against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG).

Cristiano Ronaldo led the Riyadh All-Star XI, a team that includes players from Al-Nasr and Al-Hilal, in a Riyadh Seasons Cup friendly against PSG on Thursday (January 19). Lionel Messi’s PSG emerged victorious 5-4 after a hard-fought match, but it was Ronaldo who emerged as the man of the match.

Messi put PSG in front after the Portuguese superstar scored a superb brace, cleverly putting away a 34th-minute penalty to restore parity for the Riyadh All-Star XI. Again, in first-half injury time, he showed his razor-sharp reflexes after his initial header crashed against the left post. This brace won him the man of the match award in his first game in Saudi Arabia.

After the match, Al Mumar gave his verdict on Ronaldo’s display against Paris, insisting that it was normal for him to score a brace.

Cristiano Ronaldo was unveiled as an Al-Nasr player at Mosul Park on January 3 after signing a two-and-a-half-year contract with the Saudi Arabian club. It is reported that he will earn a staggering $200 million per year during his time with the Riyadh-based club.

Ronaldo is expected to make his debut for Al Nasr on January 22 against Saudi Pro League rivals Ettifaq.

Considering that all of the aforementioned players are well into their twilight years, this was likely the last time they all participated in a football game together.
