Stanley, 24, has not played since Dec. 9 when he suffered a lower-body injury. He will get his first chance to return to action on Thursday when the Jets host the Buffalo Sabres.

Two separate stints on IR have seen Stanley appear in just seven games for the Jets this season, picking up one assist.

The 2016 first-round pick played in 58 games for Winnipeg in the 2021–22 season, where he scored one goal and had 12 assists.

Hanvola, 21, heads to the Moose after one assist in 10 games for the Jets.

Winnipeg is currently one point behind the Dallas Stars for first place in the Central Division.
